Rules

The Standard Warfare team is committed to giving every user an equal and fair gaming experience. This is why we ask that you abide by the following rules and regulations. Failure to do so will result in the suspention/limitation/deletion of your account, as detailed in the consequences section below.

1. Your Account

   1. It is your responsibility to maintain your account information, such as your email address. Using someone elses email address for your account will result in the deletion of your account or could lead to the owner of the email address used being granted ownership of your account.
   2. You may not operate more than one user account per game world. Doing so could put you at a major advantage to other players and is therefore not tolerated and will result in serious consequences for one or all of the accounts you operate.
   3. You may under no circumstances: (1) Use another individuals account, even if they gave it to you; or (2) Grant other individuals with use of your account by means of sharing your credentials or otherwise. Doing so will result in consequences for one or more individuals' account(s).
   4. You may not use your account for activities that intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law.

2. User Interaction

   1. You must understand that the ability to communicate with other users (via the forums and via the in game messaging system) is a courtesy and not a right, breaking any of the following rules can result in the removal of such courtesies from your account.
      1. You may not use Standard Warfare's methods of communication to perform any actions which are not in keeping with our terms of service.
      2. You may not use Standard Warfare's methods of communication to: (i) Impersonate another individual; (ii) Ask another individual for personal information including, but not limited to - age, location, email address, or full name.

3. Website Usage

   1. You may not attempt to access Standard Warfare via a proxy or any other form of IP address masking devices in order to disguise the fact that you are using more than one account per game world.
   2. You may not run/develop/maintain/request/use any type automated process to access any part of Standard Warfare or any network running Standard Warfare, in a way that could give you an in game advantage; doing so will result in serious consequences.
   3. You must not attempt to abuse the server or abuse security holes/bugs in the system, if you find a bug, simply report it on the forums.

4. Consequences

   1. Breaking any rules listed above will result in consequences decided by any member of the Standard Warfare team. Such consequences may include:
      1. Verbal Warning, via the messaging system, or via an email to your registered address.
      2. Removal of any account features (messaging, etc.)
      3. Temporary or permanent account suspension/deletion.
      4. Contacting your Internet Service Provider regarding your behavior.
